Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about generating product and fashion imagery with Magnifiq.
General
Magnifiq is an AI image generation platform for e-commerce and fashion. Import your product images, then use the Studio to create studio-quality product shots, lifestyle scenes, on-model fashion imagery, and photorealistic renders from sketches.
E-commerce stores, fashion brands, design teams, marketplaces, and agencies. If you need professional product imagery without the cost and lead time of photo shoots, Magnifiq is built for you.
No. You pick a workspace, choose your input images, and describe what you want. A vision AI can even write the prompt for you based on your product photos.
Magnifiq runs on the latest frontier image models and picks the right one for each job. You choose a quality tier (draft, standard, or high) and we handle the rest.
General image generators invent products. Magnifiq starts from the product images you already have and keeps the actual product intact, so the item in the generated shot is the item you sell. It also adds the parts a catalogue needs: reusable AI models, consistent identity across a collection, every aspect ratio your channels require, and signed content credentials on export.
Most generations return in seconds. Draft quality is fastest; high-quality and 4x upscaled renders take longer because they produce far more pixels.
The Studio
Pick a shot type: Scene, Fashion shoot, Lookbook, Materialize, Colorize or Text to Image. Add your products as subjects on the board, set the recipe once and every subject is generated with it. A Scene combines up to 14 input images per subject, offers 10 aspect ratios, and results can be upscaled 4x for print or hero banners.
Pick an AI model, dress it with garments from your gallery across four slots (head, upper, lower, feet), choose an environment, and generate. The model's face and body stay consistent across every shot.
Reusable AI people you build once and use across all your fashion imagery. Define attributes like age, body type, hair, and expression in a guided builder, or start from an uploaded photo. Once a model is ready, it keeps a consistent identity in every generation.
Yes. Choose from a curated pose library covering standard commercial poses and editorial ones, or supply your own reference. Poses are applied as direction rather than as an image overlay, so the pose never changes the body type of the model you built.
It turns a garment sketch or illustration plus a fabric swatch into a photorealistic product render: studio shot, flat-lay, ghost mannequin, on hanger, or on a mannequin. The Colorize shot type recolors garments and product photos to an exact hex value.
Yes. Ghost mannequin is one of the Materialize shot types: the garment keeps its worn 3D shape with no visible body, mannequin, or hanger. You can generate it from a sketch and a fabric swatch, or from photos of the actual garment.
Yes. Recolour any garment to an exact hex value and keep the fabric texture and drape true to the original, so a full colour range can be produced from a single sample.
Yes. Open any image in the Editor, paint a mask over the region you want to change, and describe the edit. Only the masked area is regenerated. The Editor also handles outpainting to a new aspect ratio, background removal, exposure and colour correction, and 4x upscaling.
Blueprints are pre-built looks that bake in the prompt, composition, aspect ratio and quality tier. You drop in your product, pick a look, and generate. Teams can also publish their own workspaces as shared blueprints so everyone starts from the same house style.
Yes. The Lookbook shot type takes one product and returns a full set of on-brand images that share one palette, one light, and one mood, varying the shot type across hero, macro detail and in-use frames.
Credits & Plans
Every plan includes a pool of image credits that refills each billing period. Each generation costs credits based on the model and quality tier you choose. Draft images cost the least; high-quality and upscaled images cost more.
Yes. The Free plan includes 100 image credits every month, forever. There is no trial clock and no credit card required. Your images, models, and catalogs are always preserved.
Standard images cost roughly 11 to 16 credits and premium 4K renders up to about 45, so a 2,750-credit plan is good for roughly 170 to 250 standard images. Drafts and touch-ups cost only a few credits each.
Generation pauses until your credits refill at the start of the next billing period, or you can upgrade to a larger plan at any time.
No. The credit pool refills at the start of each billing period rather than accumulating, which is what keeps the per-image price predictable.
Yes. Plans are monthly and you can cancel whenever you like. Your generated images remain yours.
Getting Products In
Three ways: paste a product feed URL, upload a feed file (CSV or XML), or connect Google Merchant Center. You can also upload individual images directly in the Studio.
XML feeds, including RSS, Atom and the Google Merchant namespace, and CSV feeds. Columns are auto-detected where possible and you can map any custom column by hand during import. SKU and title are the only required fields.
Yes. Group your feeds into a catalog per market and Magnifiq connects the same SKU across every language feed, so one product carries all its localised variants.
Generated images are high-resolution and download-ready as JPEG, PNG or WebP. Choose from 10 aspect ratios at generation time, set a focal point and export every ratio at once, and upscale 4x when you need larger output.
Ordinary catalogue or supplier photos are enough. What matters is that the product is clearly visible and in focus; lighting, background and styling are what Magnifiq replaces.
Provenance & Compliance
Yes. Every export carries a signed C2PA manifest and IPTC labels declaring the image as AI-generated, using the same content-credentials standard platforms and press are adopting worldwide. You can also strip the credentials for a clean export, per download.
A cryptographically signed record embedded in the image file that states who produced it and how. Any later edit breaks the seal, so a viewer can tell an untouched file from a tampered one. Magnifiq writes it into JPEG, PNG and WebP without re-encoding a single pixel.
The EU AI Act requires AI-generated images to be disclosed in a machine-readable format. Magnifiq labels every export to that standard by default, using both the C2PA manifest and the IPTC DigitalSourceType field, so the disclosure travels with the file wherever it is published.
Yes. Every image you generate is yours to use in product listings, ads, social media, and marketing materials.
Teams & Privacy
Yes. Magnifiq is team-based: invite colleagues to your workspace and share one credit pool, one gallery, and one library of AI models and assets.
Only members of your team. All catalogs, generations, and models are private to your workspace.
Yes. Each brand gets its own company workspace, so products, AI models and generated images stay cleanly separated per client while you work across all of them from one login.
Yes. The Brand Kit stores your brand colours and logo, imported by hand or from a CSV, and they become autocompletable directly inside Studio prompts so scene direction stays on-brand.
